The essence of the role: find new clients, deeply understand their logistics challenges and offer the ideal transport solution (sea, air, rail). Then hand over to the operations team for ongoing client support.
What you'll do?
- Develop the client base: search and attract customers in international transportation
- Consulting: select optimal routes and modes of transport (sea, rail, air)
- Assemble a «service bundle»: transport + customs clearance + insurance + warehouse handling
- Calculate costs, prepare commercial offers
- Conduct negotiations, presentations, sign contracts
- Together with the team, provide shipment status updates to clients, maintain records in CRM
Our expectations
- 1+ year of sales experience in logistics, freight forwarding or foreign trade
- Understanding of international transportation and customs clearance processes
- Knowledge of Incoterms basics (who pays and bears the risks)
- Proficient in PC (Excel, Outlook), CRM/1C is a plus
- English: reading documents and business correspondence
- Proactivity, desire to earn, ability to listen and negotiate
